ah yes iand if those are the Grounds for Screaming for a WE Nerf than they should remove assassins and Dervs. from the game because they Fit the Same Description of Mind numbing Spam that requires much less skill

That's pretty much what people say. And they have been mostly removed from high-end pvp, always following some great uproar when they can actually compete for warrior slots.

Generally, if all you can do is say "diversion and dshot counter it," you're actually arguing for the side saying it's OP.
Like, if Searing flames did 700 damage, it'd be okay, because if you divert it on the first cast or dshot it, nobody dies.

When WE was first buffed I seem to remember someone bringing [[Spirit Shackles] to counter it, but with all this PnH+smite hexing going on I can't see that being effective.

WE has been broken, its just that primal rage was even worse for the past little while
spamming attacks is for dervishes, plz fix warriors so they take 'teh skill'
i think WE would be better if it had a 30 second recharge, lasted 10 seconds and said
for the next 10 seconds, your attack skills cost 5 less energy
this would probably have to scale with strength

All they have to do is nudge the power attack/protector strike recharges up to 5 or something, no other bar uses them on recharge anyway.

Spirit Shackles has always looked like a good skill.
But it has never been one.
EDIT: Part of the point of saying WE is overpowered was that warriors were just not supposed to have that kind of energy generation. Its synergy with power and protector's has made this build powerful, but just breaking that synergy only destroys this build. WE will still be over generating energy just waiting for the next time it has a buddy that can bring it back to the meta, where it will again be unliked.

How terrible can you kill a skill? Even PR is alive compared to WE then.
Since PR got nerfed you can see how terrible some warriors are. They nearly do no pressure at all, hitting no bull'ses without a runbuff on frenzy, etc.
If WE was nerfed a lot of people would run Battle Rage, which isn't a great difference. You're just spamming adrenaline skills instead of energyskills and you can take a utility.

I didn't compare Battle Rage with Primal Rage but Warrior's Endurance. Of course Warrior's Endurance feels more like a dervish, but that's also a thing of interpretation. On the one hand it's a warrior since you have frenzy, rush and bull's on the other hand it's just a better derv with kd, cool ias and without aoe.
But I think with Battle Rage you almost can keep up the same spikefrequence as with Warrior's Endurance.
